Integration of data in information systems is understood as providing a single unified interface to a set of unstructured independent data sources. The article proposes a recursive decomposition of data sources where each source data is divided sequentially into atomic data items, wherein for each level of the recursive nesting data and descriptions thereof are represented consistently. When you use this method for user all integrated information resources are presented as a new single source.

Sparse Principal Component Analysis For Feature Selection of Multiple Physiological Signals from Flight Task

Sparse principal component analysis (SPCA) imposes extra constraints or penalty terms to the standard PCA to achieve sparsity. In this paper, we introduce an efficient algorithm for finding an effective sparse feature principal component (PC) of multiple physiological signals. The algorithm consists of two stages. Experiments on randomly generated data and multiple physiological signals datasets show that our algorithm is very fast, especially on large and sparse data sets, while the numerical quality of the solution is comparable to the state-of-art algorithm.

Managing Algorithm of Graph Structured Scenario for Robot

Robots having the same functions can be used in different business areas. For example, robotic reception service and museum guide service move around the restaurant or museum and run facial recognition algorithms, but different contents are used for what is displayed to users. The services arranged in a graph is called scenario in this paper. When a scenario is written, it has not only a sequential flow, but also conditional flow and repeat flow. This paper introduces an algorithm managing a graph having conditional sub graphs and repeat sub graphs.

Procurement scheduling under supply and demand uncertainty: Case study for comparing classical, reactive, and proactive scheduling

An MILP model is used for a systematic procurement scheduling. However if there exists uncertainty in supply and demand, the solution obtained from the deterministic model may be suboptimal or even infeasible. Thus in this study, two alternative approaches are formulated to consider these uncertainties: reactive rescheduling, and Markov decision process (MDP) formulation based scheduling. To solve the MDP problem, algorithmic approximation strategies are studied and applied for reducing computation. Finally, their performances are compared with those of the original model for a case study.

Design and control of the off-gas recovery plant with periodic disturbances

This paper proposes a rigorous process design and plant-wide control scheme that allow for the effective separation of the off-gas from polysilicon plant with periodic disturbances in the feed. The target process studied in this work produces 10,000 MT polysilicon per year and the number of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) reactors is 28. In order to construct rigorous dynamic process models in Aspen Plus and Aspen Dynamics, CVD reaction kinetic models were constructed and their parameters were identified using the genetic algorithm. Mobile business process construction principles on the mobile robot system platform

Currently the concept of a new generation of business processes is forming under the influence of scientific and technological progress and socio-economic consciousness. Implementation of this concept implies giving the business process, such new functions or features: a) autonomy, b) dynamic, c) the constructed, etc. that were no able in the business processes exploited today. The paper deals with one of the ways of building mobile business process with a high quality on the basis of a mobile robot system.
